Terms of Use

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Habiter app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android ("the App"), made by Faruk Mert Kapar ("we"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you got the App from Apple's App Store, you also agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

License

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices that you own or control, in accordance with the terms of the store you got it from (the App Store or Google Play).

Your data

Your habit data is stored on your device and, if you use them, in your own iCloud or Android backup. The Privacy Policy explains what the App handles. You are responsible for backing up your device. We are not liable for loss of data resulting from device loss, damage or deletion of the App.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, copy, resell or misuse the App, and not to use it in violation of applicable law.

Community content and conduct

Public challenges in Habiters let you publish a display name, a picture, a challenge you created, posts and replies that anyone using Habiter can see. You are responsible for everything you publish, and you must have the right to publish it.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, spam, or that impersonates another person or infringes anyone's rights.

We may remove any published content and eject any user at any time, without notice, at our sole discretion. To report something outside the App, or to appeal a removal, email farukmertkapar@gmail.com.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Habiter is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, psychological or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
